Munich officially confirmed that Hamit Altintop will leave the club after the end of the season.
Turkish player, who arrived to Munich from Gelsenkirchen's "Schalke" in 2007, played a total of 63 matches and scored seven goals.
Altintop is not satisfied with a substitute role, so he refused to negotiate a contract extension.
"Hamit decided to leave because this season he played only 90 minutes in three matches. Of course, it's not enough for him, so we understand his decision and respect it," said Bayern's CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge.
It is rumored that Altintop may sign a contract with Real Madrid in Madrid."
