After seven years of interruption, the footballers of Amsterdam's "Ajax" triumphed in the Eredivisie Championship in the Netherlands, which ended on Sunday.

Frank De Boer's players won the crucial last match of the XXX round at home with a score of 3-1, surpassing Enschede's "Twente" team in the tournament standings.

Next year, these two teams will compete in the UEFA Champions League tournament, while PSV Eindhoven and AZ Alkmaar have already secured tickets to the European League.

In the 2011-2012 season, we will not see the Tilburg "Willem II" club in the championship, as they have dropped to a lower division - "Eerste Divisie".

The most productive player of the championship with 23 goals is Bjorn Vleminckx from NEC Nijmegen, who has already been acquired by "Club Brugge" for 3.3 million euros.
