"SkySports" reports that the fight for experienced goalkeeper Brad Friedel is in progress. Currently representing Birmingham's Aston Villa team, the 39-year-old American will become a free agent in June. The club is offering him a contract extension, but he has received at least three other offers, including from West Bromwich and Tottenham. However, it seems that Friedel himself is inclined to return to Liverpool, where he played from 1997-2000.
