Nedvedas: Current "Juventus" - not a team © EuroFootball.com

Former Juventus defender Pavel Nedved claims that the team needs to regain the lost winning character.

The last time the most titled team in Italy won the "Scudetto" was in 2003, and before the last round of this season, they are only in seventh place in the league table.

"I am angry like all the fans because the team's results are very disappointing. We need to fight for a better future for this club," said the Czech, who played over 240 matches for Juventus.

"I don't think that this season Juventus was a team, because they lacked character. They were more present in the media than on the pitch. There was a lack of unity.

I saw too many young and new players, but there were also old ones who lost the character that Juventus once had. The newcomers did not understand what it means to represent this team, and the old ones forgot. We can see the results of all of this very clearly."
