The Spanish champion and the United Nations Children's Fund UNICEF have agreed to extend their cooperation agreement for another year.

In the upcoming season, the UNICEF logo will be moved from the chest of the Barcelona shirts to the back, depicted below the player's number.

The Catalan club and the mentioned United Nations fund signed a new agreement for one year, but discussions on further cooperation are ongoing and it is planned to later sign a long-term agreement.

The UNICEF logo appeared on Barcelona shirts five years ago and since then the Catalan club has annually dedicated part of its profits to various United Nations Children's Fund programs - around 2 million euros.

Information about the progress of negotiations and the expected signing date of the new long-term agreement should be announced by Barcelona in the month of June.
