Madrid has signed a four-year contract with versatile midfielder Hamit Altintop.
The Turkish national team football player has worn the Bayern Munich shirt for the past four seasons, but will become a free agent in a few weeks, so there was no need to pay a transfer fee to the Spanish vice champions.
Altintop, who was particularly wanted by Real coach Jose Mourinho, became the second Turk to shake hands with the Madrid club for the next season. A few weeks ago, Dortmund's Nuri Sahin was acquired.
This season in the German championship, Altintop has played 14 matches, starting in the initial lineup in 8 of them, and scored two goals.
