The Lithuanian national team has lost its main goalkeeper - Zydrunas Karcemarskas dropped out of the squad for at least a couple of weeks, as reported by the TV channel "Sport1". This means that the footballer will most likely not be able to help the national team in the very important European Championship qualifying match on June 3 against Liechtenstein, as well as in a friendly match with Norway four days later. It is still unclear who will replace Karcemarskas in the main goalkeeper position. In the last match against Spain, 22-year-old Vytautas Cerniauskas from the "Vaslui" club was on the bench, and Ernestas Setkus from Nicosia's "Olympiacos" was the reserve. It is doubtful whether there will be a place in the national team for Giedrius Arlauskis, the goalkeeper of Kazan's "Rubin", who has had a conflict with the head coach Raimondas Zutautas.
