Returning to the highest league in Germany, Berlin's Hertha signed a contract with Munich's safe, Andreas Ottl.
The 26-year-old football player committed to representing the capital team for three seasons.
"This will be a new challenge for me, which I am very much looking forward to after spending 15 years in Munich," Ottl said. "It will be amazing to play at the Olympic Stadium."
Ottl became the second free agent to transfer from Bayern to Hertha. A few weeks ago, goalkeeper Thomas Kraft did the same.
