The club extended the contract with striker Edinson Cavani until 2016.
The Uruguayan's existing contract was supposed to expire in 2015, but the team's leaders wanted to refute all rumors of a possible sale of the football player.
"Next season I will fight to give something to these amazing fans," said 24-year-old Cavani. "We will try to win the title of Italian champions because we are hungry for victories.
My family is happy in Naples, I also love this city, the fans are great, so there is no reason to leave."
This season, in the "Serie A" championship, Cavani scored as many as 26 goals.
