Owen Hargreaves, who will finish the contract expiring in June, will not extend his stay due to injury problems. The former English national football player has been under medical care for three years and rarely appears on the field. Having arrived in Manchester from Munich's Bayern for around 20 million euros in 2007, the 30-year-old midfielder will have to look for a new team. "It was a difficult decision to make because we all saw how hard he was trying to come back," said Manchester United coach Sir Alex Ferguson. "But we hope he will successfully continue his career elsewhere." Hargreaves played only one match in the English championship in both this and last seasons.
