Sevilla and Madrid teams fans celebrate the victories of their favorites - "Betis" and "Rayo Vallecano" have secured the right to play in the country's top division next season.

Rayo returns to "Liga BBVA" after an eight-year break, during which they competed in the third division "Segunda B". The Andalusian team climbed to the highest league after spending two seasons in the "Liga Adelante". Betis could have reached "La Liga" after the first season, but in the 2009-2010 season, the team finished fourth in the lower division and missed out on promotion to the Primera.

The third team to earn the right to play in the top Spanish league next season will be determined in the playoff matches. So far, only the eleven of "Granada" have secured a spot in them, with teams like "Elche", "Celta", "Valladolid", "Alcorcon", and "Xerez" competing for the remaining tickets. Currently, the fourth place in the "Liga Adelante" is held by "Barcelona B" but they will not be allowed to participate in the playoff matches as the main team of the Catalan club is already playing in "Liga BBVA".

There are still a few important nuances that could adjust the final standings of the second strongest division in Spain.

In the 33rd round match, "Granada" suffered a 0-4 defeat against "Barcelona B", but they appealed to the Spanish football federation. According to Granada's representatives, "Barcelona B" did not have the right to register Jonathan Dos Santos, who was supposed to miss the match due to disqualification. The Catalan club argued that the federation had been informed that the player had already served his suspension in the previous match, which he was not included in the youth team's application.

The first appeal by "Granada" was rejected, but the team appealed the decision of the federation and the case is currently under consideration. If Granada's claim is successful, they will be awarded three points, and then the team will have 69 points on their account instead of 66. The final decision should be made on June 3.

The appeal by "Granada" could adjust the final position of "Rayo Vallecano" in the "Segunda" standings. As it is known, 42 rounds are played here, and if Granada's complaint is accepted, only 4 points would separate them and the Madrid team.

However, in the 40th round match played on Sunday at home, "Rayo" defeated "Xerez" 3-0 and secured a place in the next season's "Liga BBVA" regardless of the outcome of Granada's appeal.

The 41st and 42nd round matches will be held in the near future, and after them all playoff participants will be determined.

"Albacete", "Ponferradina", and "Tenerife" teams have already been relegated to the third division. By the way, the latter team played in the top country's league the season before.

"Salamanca", Tarragona's "Gimnastic", "Villarreal B", "Cordoba", and "Las Palmas" clubs are competing for the right to stay in the "Liga Adelante" next season.
