Dortmund's defender Nuri Sahin has been voted the best player of the season in the German championship.
The Turkish national team member helped the club win the country's champions title, and immediately after that, shook hands with Real Madrid.
In the survey of the 298 top league players conducted by "Kicker", Sahin received 46.1% of the votes. In second place was another Borussia defender Mario Goetze (18.7%), and in third place was Leverkusen's Bayer representative Arturo Vidalis (7.4%).
