Coach Emery renewed his contract with Valencia

The club has extended a contract with head coach Unai Emery for another year, who will lead the team at least until June 2012.

"Unai has proven his worth by securing a spot in the Champions League tournament," said Valencia president Manuel Llorente.

The 39-year-old specialist has been working in Valencia since 2008 and in both seasons in the Spanish league, he finished in third place.
