London strategist Arsene Wenger has admitted that he would like to acquire Madrid striker Karim Benzema this summer.
For the past two seasons, the Frenchman has been wearing the jerseys of a Spanish team, but he does not always make it into the starting lineup.
Meanwhile, Arsenal is looking to strengthen after another unsuccessful season, and Benzema is considered one of the main candidates.
"Acquiring Benzema is not impossible. He is a player that I really like," Wenger told "The Sun".
He added: "Karim moves intelligently on the field, can form a good partnership with other players, and can single-handedly change the course of a match. Additionally, he is strong individually. He is truly a top-level striker."
In the Spanish league, Benzema scored fifteen goals in 33 matches.
