Delneri - third worst coach in the history of "Juventus" © EuroFootball.com

Former Juventus head coach Luigi Delneri ranked third in the list of worst 'old lady' coaches of all time.

After the last round of the Italian Serie A matches, in which Juventus and Napoli shared a point, it was revealed that Delneri's team averaged 1.52 points per match.

Compared to the achievements of former 'old lady' coaches, this is the third worst result in Juventus history.

Last season, Juventus changed two coaches who did not perform any better - Ciro Ferrara (1.6 points) and Alberto Zaccheroni (1.2 points).

Delneri is not the first Juventus coach who failed to secure a place for the club in European competitions. In the 1990-91 season, the team was led by Luigi Maifredi, who also failed to qualify for Europe.

Fabio Capello was the most productive Juventus coach, with his team averaging 2.3 points per match. He surpasses Carlo Ancelotti and Marcello Lippi.

Didier Deschamps also had an average of 2.3 points, but he coached the team when they were playing in the second Italian football division - Serie B.
