The victory in the Champions League final not only brings glory, but also a profit of 126 million euros, says the sponsor of the tournament "Mastercard".
The possibility to receive a record sum is held by the teams "Barcelona" and "Man Utd", who will clash in tonight's match at London's "Wembley" stadium.
However, the losing team will not go unrewarded, as they will earn 73 million euros.
The total economic benefit of the final should reach around 369 million euros, of which a significant part - 52 million - will go to the city of London due to fans' expenditures on hotels, food, and drinks.
The winning club's city will earn 18 million euros, and the European economy will gain a profit of 100 million euros.
