The Seville's "Real Betis" club, which has returned to the highest league in Spain, has signed a new three-year contract with coach Pepe Mel.
"I stay where I want to be," said the 48-year-old specialist. "I have been given the opportunity to develop a three-year project, and the future will depend on whether we will stay in the 'Primera' league."
With two rounds left until the end of the second league, "Betis" is in first place and is three points ahead of "Rayo Vallecano."
