The French club has new owners - from now on, 70% of the shares will be controlled by a group of businessmen related to the Qatari government, "Qatar Investment Authority".

Until now, the shares belonged to the American group "Colony Capital", which now holds 30%.

The new owners promised to ensure the team's improvement and growth in the long term perspective.

PSG finished 4th in the French championship and achieved the best result since 2004.
