Dimitar Berbatov insists he wants to stay at the club, even though he was not even included in the squad for the Champions League final match against Barcelona.
The 30-year-old Bulgarian, who is being watched by Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund, says that this will only motivate him even more to fight for a place in the starting lineup.
"I will definitely stay and help the team fight for the 20th English championship title," said the most productive player of the Premier League season, according to the Daily Mirror.
"If I were one of those who give up easily, I would not have achieved so much. There will be more finals, because we are not fighting for just one title. I am moving forward and everything will start anew from July 4th."
