Guardian of London gates Jens Lehmann will sign a one-year contract with Gelsenkirchen, announces "Stuttgarter Zeitung".
The 41-year-old German announced his retirement in 2010, but in March he made a short-term contract with "Arsenal".
It was thought that Lehmann would hang up his boots again, but an attractive offer from Gelsenkirchen seems to have made him change his mind.
The veteran is expected to play the role of a backup goalkeeper, as the place on the field has already been assigned to Ralf Fahrmann, who was acquired a few days ago. He will replace Manuel Neuer, who has left for Bayern Munich.
