The directors of Turin offered six million pounds sterling for the midfield security of Alberto Aquilani's team.
Last summer, the English club leased the Italian to the Turin team for one year. The lease agreement included a clause allowing Juventus to buy out Aquilani's contract for 14 million pounds sterling.
The lease agreement expired on May 15, and Liverpool rejected the offer made by the "old lady".
In the summer of 2009, the English club paid a hefty 17 million pounds sterling to the Roma team for the Italian, and by the end of June this year, they must make the final payment of 4.4 million pounds sterling.
Meanwhile, Aquilani's agent Franco Zavaglia is confident that representatives of both teams will be able to find a compromise.
