Azerbaijani journalists were outraged by the poor results of the national team, so they staged an unusual action - they threw a roll of toilet paper at the national team coach Berti Vogts.
The German has been in charge of the team since 2008, but during this time he has only managed to secure two victories in official matches. On Friday, Azerbaijan lost 1-2 to Kazakhstan and is currently in last place in Group A of the European Championship qualifiers.
Vogts was not only targeted with toilet paper, but also splashed with water.
The specialist was clearly upset after the incident: "I would have left a long time ago if it weren't for my excellent relationship with the federation president. I am experienced, but nothing like this has ever happened before. I cannot put it into words."
