Munich officially confirmed that striker Miroslav Klose is leaving the club.
The contract of the German national team member will expire at the end of this month, and the offer to extend it seemed unacceptable to the footballer.
"Unfortunately, negotiations for a new contract did not yield results. We wanted Klose to stay, but we could not agree on the duration of the contract," said Bayern's chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge.
According to the press, Klose is likely to move to the Spanish team "Valencia", although there is also interest from Roma's "Lazio", London's "Tottenham", and "Trabzonspor".
