Lisbon's "Benfica" denies rumors that defender Fabio Coentrao will move to Madrid in the near future.

In an official statement released on their website, it is added that the player's contract includes a buyout clause of 30 million euros, which will be demanded by interested clubs.

Rumors have been circulating in the Spanish press that "Real" and "Benfica" have reached an agreement, so in the near future, the 23-year-old Coentrao should join the Portuguese contingent at the "Royal" club - Cristiano Ronaldo, Ricardo Carvalho, and Pepe.

The defender himself has previously said: "There is interest from 'Real.' I hope that my hope and dream of wearing this team's shirt will become a reality."
