Luis Enrique, who has recently led the reserve team, has agreed to take over the reins, according to media reports.
According to "Gazzetta dello Sport", the Spaniard agreed to sign a two-year contract worth $2.2 million for one season.
Enrique will replace Vincenzo Montella, who coached the capital team in the second half of last season, when he replaced Claudio Ranieri.
The former "Barcelona" goalkeeper started his coaching career in 2008 and has been working with the club's young players ever since.
