Legendary striker Ronaldo bid farewell to the match in San Paolo, Brazil's national team defeated Romania by a minimal score of 1-0.
The only goal was scored in the 21st minute by Fred, who sent the ball into the net after a pass from Neymar.
Ronaldo appeared on the field for 30 minutes, and after the first half, with applause from both teams' players and fans, he was escorted off the field.
The 34-year-old player, during his impressive career, became a world champion twice and was FIFA player of the year three times.
During three World Cups, Ronaldo scored 15 goals, representing his country 98 times and scoring more than 60 times.
