New coach Gregorio Manzano has been officially appointed as the new coach of Madrid.
The experienced specialist has signed a one-year contract with the club, where he already led in the 2003-2004 season.
The 55-year-old Manzano will replace Quique Sanchez Flores, who stepped down after the end of the Spanish championship. The capital team only finished seventh.
Last season, the strategist coached Sevilla and achieved fifth place in the championship, but his contract was not renewed.
