Miroslav Klose signed a two-year contract with AS Roma on Wednesday evening. This news was officially confirmed by the Italian club's website.

True, born in Poland, Klose will celebrate his 33rd birthday on Thursday and will have to undergo a medical examination.

It is said that the German will earn around 2 million euros per season, excluding bonuses.

Since 2007, Klose has represented the Bayern Munich team, but in the last season he played a more episodic role and did not renew his expiring contract. In the German championship, in 20 matches, of which he started only 9, he scored only one goal.

The player also had an offer from Valencia, but chose the Italian team, as it guarantees him a place in the starting lineup. This will be Klose's first team outside Germany, as so far he has only worn the jerseys of Bayern, Homburg, Kaiserslautern, and Werder Bremen.
