President Fernando Roig would not want defender Marcos Senna to leave for English "Premier" league team "Swansea" next season.
The 34-year-old veteran will become a free agent in a few days, and negotiations for a new contract have stalled.
"Swansea" has already made him an offer and Senna's agent insisted that it is tempting.
However, Roigas stated: "Of course, the economic situation is very important, but we will do everything to extend the contract. The coach considers the Spaniard a very important player, so we do not want to lose him."
