The team head coach Hugo Broos has been released from his duties. For now, the team will be led by his assistant Franky Vercauteren.
This season has been quite unsuccessful for the Brussels club. The team did not earn any points in the Champions League group stage, has already been eliminated from the Belgian Cup competition, and is trailing the leaders in the championship by as much as 14 points.
Broos has been in charge of the current Belgian champions since 2002.
