Federico Macheda will not leave the club this summer, his agent assures.
The 19-year-old footballer was loaned to Genoa's Sampdoria in January, but in 14 matches he failed to score a single goal and the team dropped to the Serie B.
There were talks about Macheda possibly staying in Genoa, but his representative denied this information and stated that the forward will return to Manchester.
It is likely that the Italian will be loaned out again, as Manchester United has no shortage of forwards: with Javier Hernandez, Wayne Rooney, Dimitar Berbatov, and Michael Owen all filling the positions.
