The club acquired the security of Dani Parejo for about 5 million euros.
The member of the Spanish youth national team took his first career steps in the youth team of Real Madrid, and later was loaned to the English Queens Park Rangers team. Parejo wore the Getafe shirt for the last two years.
As part of the deal, Getafe also loaned Valencia goalkeeper Miguel Angel Moya for one season.
Valencia finished third in the Spanish league and will play in the Champions League.
