The Kyiv club has taken measures not typical for modern sports - for every loss, football players are punished by cutting their salaries.
This is aimed at improving results in the Ukrainian championship, but Nigerian goalkeeper Yusuf Atanda Ayila is not very happy about it.
"Representing the 'Dynamo' team is difficult," he told the BBC. "You always have to want to win because losing means losing part of your salary.
At first, I wanted to protest, but later other players said that everyone has to pay for failure. That's why on the field, they fight not only for victory, but also for money."
And he continued: "Salaries are not paid for draws, whether at home or away, so only victory matters. The language of victory is the only one understood by the managers. And losing to Donetsk's 'Shakhtar' is absolutely forbidden."
