Former Juventus director Luciano Moggi and two other Italians have been disqualified from football-related activities, up to their heads!
Such a decision was made due to their involvement in the match-fixing scandal of 2006.
The punishment was imposed by the discipline committee of the Italian Football Federation, which also punished Moggi and another former Juventus executives Antonio Giraudo and Innocenzo Mazzini, who worked for the country's federation. So far, the trio has been sentenced to five-year bans.
In a separate court case in Naples, Moggi is accused of collusion with criminal organizations that manipulated match results. Giraudo was sentenced to three years in prison in this case.
After the mentioned scandal, Juventus lost the Italian champions titles won in 2005 and 2006.
