Luka Modrić confirmed that he wants to leave the London club and move to another team in the capital.

At the end of the week, Tottenham rejected a €25 million offer and called it "absurd." Manager Harry Redknapp added that there are no intentions to sell one of the team's leaders.

However, the situation may change as the Croatian stated that he wants to wear Chelsea's shirt.

"If the club receives an acceptable offer, I want to leave," the playmaker told the Daily Mail. "I want to leave Tottenham as a friend.

I have enjoyed my time here, but it is time to look for another club. I have agreed with the team's leaders that they will consider all offers received. But I am not asking to be sold, as that would be disrespectful. I hope the agreement will satisfy all parties.

Chelsea is a wonderful club with an ambitious owner. There are great players in the team who are determined to compete for the English champion title and the Champions League trophy. So I would like to stay in London."

The footballer is also interested in two Manchester teams: Man City and Man Utd.
