Milan will not try to acquire striker Carlos Tevez, as the footballers market and prices this season are "crazy".
The Italian vice champions have been linked with Argentine national team star Tevez for some time, but sports director Marco Branca denied such talks.
"Tevez is a wonderful player, but no, we will not try to acquire him," Branca told the BBC. "The size of his salary means that such an option is unrealistic. The market is crazy, so competing is very difficult.
Our income from matches and merchandise sales does not come close to England. We are looking for younger players who could improve with us."
And continued: "Let's take Alexis Sanchez - we really liked him. But "Man City" raised the price to 35 million euros, excluding bonuses, and we could no longer compete.
Finally, he decided to move to the "Barcelona" team, which will pay 28 million euros plus another 10 million in bonuses. Not many clubs can afford that."
One of the leaders of "Inter" also added that the club will seek to reduce the total amount allocated to salaries, as the implementation of the UEFA financial restrictions plan is approaching.
