The ambitious club continues to strengthen: the team has been supplemented by the defenders Joaquin from "Valencia" and Sergio Sanchez who previously wore the "Sevilla" jersey.

The 29-year-old right-back Joaquin cost the Malaga team about 4 million euros. Once considered one of the most promising players in his position in Europe, the Spaniard was unable to shine due to constant injuries and last represented his national team back in 2007.

At the same time, Malaga paid 3 million euros for the 25-year-old right-back defender Sanchez. There were doubts about whether this footballer could continue his career due to heart problems, but it is expected that doctors will allow him to play.

The owner of Malaga, Sheikh Abdullah Bin Nasser Al Thani, has repeatedly promised to make the club one of the most powerful in Europe, and this summer he is proving his ambitions by spending the most money of all the Spanish teams.

So far, veterans Ruud van Nistelrooy and defender Joris Mathijsen from "Hamburg", Diego Buonanotte from "River Plate", Nacho Monreal from "Osasuna" and one of the leaders of "Lyon" Jeremy Toulalan have been acquired.
