Newcomer Ashley Young says he couldn't resist the opportunity to wear the English champions' shirt and help them win their 20th Premier League title.
The 25-year-old footballer signed a five-year contract yesterday and officially became a player of the 'Red Devils'.
It is reported that the transfer fee amounts to about 16 million pounds sterling.
"I couldn't say 'no' to the opportunity to play for one of the biggest clubs in the world," said Young. "I've dreamed of playing in such a team since I was a kid. Now the opportunity has come and I have to take it."
"Man Utd" striker Michael Owen, who recently extended his contract for another year, tweeted on his Twitter profile: "Happy to hear that Ashley Young's transfer is completed. He will be a great addition to the team."
