The new head coach of AC Milan, Gian Piero Gasperini, has been officially appointed. The specialist has signed a two-year contract.

Several famous specialists, such as Fabio Capello, Andre Villas Boas, Marcelo Bielsa, Guus Hiddink, and others, applied for the strategist position that became vacant when Brazilian Leonardo left to work as a sports director at PSG.

However, "Inter" president Massimo Moratti was pleased that Gasperini was chosen, who worked at Genoa last season but was dismissed.

With this team, he managed to promote to Serie A in 2007 and soon after secure fifth place and earn a ticket to the Europa League tournament.

Gasperini has also coached the youth team of Turin's Juventus and the "Serie B" club Crotone.
