The Saint Petersburg club acquired left-back Domenico Criscito for 15 million euros. The 24-year-old Italian national team player signed a four-year contract and is expected to earn around 2.5 million euros per season. Criscito started his career at Genoa and after a short stint at Juventus in Turin in 2008, he returned to Genoa. In Russia, he will join his compatriot coach Luciano Spalletti. The defender, who was also of interest to Napoli, PSG, and Inter Milan, represented the Italian national team in the last World Cup.
