Today officially announced the third summer purchase - Spanish goalkeeper David De Gea, who joined the "Red Devils" team from Madrid.

The 20-year-old goalkeeper underwent a medical examination this week and signed a five-year contract with the club.

"It's a huge honor for me to sign a contract with Man Utd, I can't wait for the moment when I can start playing here," De Gea told MUTV. "When a club like Man Utd showed interest in me, I felt very happy. It gave me extra motivation to try to play even better."

David De Gea, for whom Sir Alex Ferguson did not hesitate to pay over 20 million euros, will join the team next month.
