Former strategist of the clubs "Barcelona" and "Galatasaray" Frank Rijkaard has been appointed as the new coach of the Saudi Arabian national team.
Yesterday, the Dutchman signed a three-year contract with the Asian country's football federation at the Saudi Arabian embassy in London.
Rijkaard, whose goal is to lead the team to the 2014 World Cup in Brazil, replaced Ricardo Gomes at the helm of the national team, who was dismissed for violating the terms of the contract.
