It was officially announced that the 23-year-old defender's contract, which had one more season to run, is terminated by mutual agreement. The club retains the right to buy back the player until the winter of 2012 and receive an undisclosed fee from possible future transfers.
In the spring of 2008, Sanchez was promoted to the main squad of Barcelona but did not establish himself there, so in the summer of 2009, he was loaned to the Xerez team, where he played for one year.
During the past season, Sanchez, who can play in the defender positions, represented Madrid's Getafe team and played 27 official matches.
