According to Gazzetta dello Sport, an agreement is almost reached, but there is disagreement on how the 40 million euro compensation will be paid.
The Spanish champions would like to pay 27 million euros immediately, and the remaining 13 million - according to additional conditions, which would depend on Sanchez's performance. This option is not acceptable to the "Udinese" team, which does not want to risk that the footballer may not fit in Catalonia.
Sanchez himself currently represents the Chile national team in the "Copa America" tournament.
