In Milan, the San Siro or otherwise known as Giuseppe Meazza stadium, where the home matches are played by and clubs will be renovated. The renovation works will start already this summer.

The stadium renovation will include modernization of the arena infrastructure and raising the level of security. Both Milan clubs also collaborate with the city municipality for the implementation of the "Quarto Anello" project, turning the area around the stadium into a leisure, entertainment, and sports park.

"We want to turn the stadium into a place where people can come with their families all year round and at the same time feel completely safe," announces the Milan website.

One of Italy's most famous stadiums, which was built back in 1935, was last renovated before the 1990 World Cup when its seating capacity was increased to 85,700.
