Former Germany national team defender Dietmar Hamann is starting his coaching career by taking charge of the English fifth division club "Stockport County."
The Champions League winner with Liverpool will seek to help the team, which dropped out of the fourth tier of English football after 106 years.
The 37-year-old Hamann has worn the jerseys of teams such as Bayern Munich, Liverpool, Newcastle, and Manchester City throughout his career.
He has also become a World Cup runner-up.
