"Velez Sarsfield" confirmed that they have sold attacking midfielder Ricky Alvarez to Milan. The Italian vice champions acquired 90 percent of the rights to the 23-year-old footballer for 12 million euros. The remaining ten percent will be bought by "Inter" for one million euros after Alvarez plays 80 matches. In Italy, the midfielder, who signed a five-year contract, is expected to earn around 1.8 million euros per year. Alvarez was also of interest to teams such as London's "Arsenal" and "Roma".
