The 20-year-old footballer became the second acquisition of the Manchester club's defensive line in a matter of days - earlier they had reached an agreement with Gael Clichy from London's "Arsenal".
"I have been constantly following the English Premier League and I was burning with desire to play there," said the Montenegrin. "I hope to achieve great victories.
The team has an amazing stadium and I have seen great fans multiple times. I am happy to play alongside Edin Dzeko and Aleksandar Kolarov, who speak my language and are from the Balkans."
The deal is valued at around 7 million euros, and Savic himself signed a four-year contract.
