Tragedy in the Netherlands: a man died and more than ten others were injured when part of the roof of the "Twente" stadium in Enschede collapsed.
The incident occurred during construction work, when the beams could not bear the weight and collapsed onto one of the stands behind the goal. It is reported that the deceased and the injured are workers.
"Twente" was in second place in the Dutch championship and was hoping to expand the stadium capacity to 32 thousand seats before the start of the new season.
The first match in the Champions League qualifying tournament at the "Grolsch Veste" stadium is scheduled for the end of July or the beginning of August.
