Club has acquired "Blackpool" goalkeeper Charlie Adam for approximately 10 million euros.
The 25-year-old footballer underwent a medical examination on Thursday and signed a contract, the duration of which was not disclosed.
"I am very happy," said the Scottish player. "The process was long, but now I am eager to start training as soon as possible.
"I believe that playing here will be very beneficial for me, as there are many wonderful players around. I hope that we will succeed in winning trophies."
Adam became the second purchase of "Liverpool" this summer. Earlier, the young goalkeeper Jordan Henderson was acquired for 22 million euros. Soon to follow in the footsteps of these players should be "Roma" goalkeeper Doni.
